OfficeJS Iodide: Ubiquitous Data Science Notebooks for Business and Education
Iodide and Pyodide have brought a standard notebook application to OfficeJS that can be used for business reporting, research and education. They support data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Plotly, etc. and soon scikit-learn. OfficeJS Iodide notebooks can be used offline or online on any modern HTML5 web browser such as Firefox or Chrome. Thanks to JIO, notebooks can be synchronised with Dropbox, WebDAV, ERP5 and any other storage supported by a JIO plugin. Iodide notebooks can also be embedded through RenderJS into any business application. The dream of ubiquitous data sciences at no infrastructure cost has come to a reality.

Wendelin: early prototype of a Pandas-based Inventory API
The Inventory API is one of the areas of ERP5 that demands the most processing power to do calculations over all the client's stock movements. We created a Wendelin prototype to see if we could expand the capacities of the Inventory API using Pandas.

RenderJS: Serverless WebRTC database using Chrome Http WebSocket Server
One of our projects required to come up with a web-based solution that enabled clients to access their local database without proper internet access. The solution we came up with was to use WebRTC brokered over a WebSocket Chrome Extension running on the master node. Using this approach, clients could request WebRTC connections via WebSockets (serverless) and then interact with the database over WebRTC - probably creating the first WebRTC database along the way.

ERP5: Open Source ERP Optimized for Thuraya IP
For an ongoing project we were required to run ERP5 on remote locations in China with no reliable internet access. We gave Thuraya a try, which provides internet access using their satellite broadband terminals and used a RenderJS-based HTML5 offline-capable ERP5 interface which stores and synchronizes data using jIO and runs on NayuOS ensuring a minimum of data being sent up- and downstream.
