Wendelin: 0.5 released

Wendelin has just announced the new 0.5 release. This release integrates Jupyter into Wendelin providing a familiar interface when working with data. Work has also been gone into upgrading to Wendelin Core 0.5 as well as simplifying the standalone install process.

Airbus DS Geo GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space, holds the exclusive commercial exploitation rights for the TerraSAR-X radar earth observation satellite and uses ERP5 as part of the service segment for the commercial distribution of data from the TerraSAR-X Mission . The initial implementation of the ERP5 for the TerraSAR-X Service Segment was realised by Nexedi and Logica and went into production in 2006, after which Nexedi took sole responsibility for managing the system and its technical evolution.

This release focuses on reducing installation time for Debian 8.1 (64bit) while also fixing a number of performance bugs and providing a fully functional development instance able to run live tests and allowing anyone to develop on top of Wendelin.
